Exchange Flow

Net balance of crypto flowing in/out of centralized exchanges.

Exchange Flow: inflow (selling pressure) vs outflow (accumulation). Netflow = in - out. Negative = accumulation. Supply % falling <10% = pre-bull preparation.

In plain words

Measures how much crypto flows into centralized exchanges (usually pre-sale) vs out to private wallets (accumulation). More outflows than inflows is a bullish signal. Coins leave the market because people are storing them long-term.

Example

Nov 2024: BTC outflow 50k/week, exchange supply 12%→11%. Price 80k→100k in 6 weeks. May 2021 (top): inflow 80k/week, 64k→30k in 3 weeks.

Also known as: exchange flow, exchange netflow, exchange inflow outflow
