Trending Score
A measure of how much an asset is trending. It combines searches and mentions into a single popularity score.
Trending score synthesizes popularity signals, such as the rise in searches, mentions and placement on "trending" lists, into a single normalized score showing how strongly an asset draws attention relative to the rest of the market. A high score means the project is momentarily in the spotlight. A low one means that it stays in the shadows. Historically, extremely high trendiness can be a sign of overheating and inflowing late retail capital (the euphoria phase), while a long absence from trend lists corresponds to quiet accumulation phases. It is a gauge of attention momentum, not project quality: a fashionable token need not be valuable, and a valuable one is often unfashionable. Read it together with fundamentals (the project radar) and price direction. On its own it is contextual and informational, not a buy or sell signal.
In plain words
How fashionable and searched a given crypto is right now. High on the trending list = lots of attention, but fashion is not the same as value.
Example
A token jumps to the top of the "trending" list after a viral post. Attention spikes, but it is a sign of overheating, not a confirmation of fundamentals.
