How long coins have sat unmoved - shows holder structure.
Every BTC ages from its last transaction. HODL waves chart what % of BTC supply hasn't moved for 1m, 6m, 1y, 2y, 5y, 10y. Old supply (>1y) rises in bear (strong hand accumulation), falls in bull (selling). Currently (2025) >70% of BTC unmoved for 1+ year = record-strong holders.
In plain words
Every BTC has an age counted from its last transaction. The more BTC sits untouched for years, the stronger the hands holding the market.

January 2025: 71% of BTC unmoved for >=1 year (all-time high), 28% for >=5 years - strongest structure ever.
