It is a familiar setup: macro hits valuations, and capital looks for safer ground.

Today's decline is not just a Bitcoin story.

Why is the market falling? U.S. inflation and ETF flows

RSS data compiled by CryptoPulsar point to macro prints as the main catalyst for the sell-off. BitHub.pl said in its headline that Bitcoin fell below 82,000 USD and that U.S. inflation surprised the market. A headline from Comparic.pl indicates the dollar rose after the U.S. inflation release. That can help explain the pressure on crypto prices, since a stronger dollar usually drains fuel from risk assets.

The second factor is fund flows. Comparic.pl reported that XRP ETFs logged a 13th week of inflows, while Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs lost $1.2 billion. That suggests a selective bid: money is rotating toward XRP and out of the two largest cryptocurrencies. Market-cycle data on XRP also show bullish MACD and EMA signals, which may be supporting interest in the asset.

On-chain and the market cycle: BTC, ETH and SOL under the microscope

Bitcoin: RSI warns of overbought conditions

In CryptoPulsar market-cycle data, Bitcoin scores 33.9/50. With the price near 81.6 thousand USD and a 2.1% drop over 24 hours, the BTC network processed about 1.28 million transactions a day. Daily trend indicators remain bullish: MACD shows a positive histogram, and the EMA 9/21 still favors buyers. A short-term warning is RSI(14) at 77.5, which signals overbought conditions, along with mild greed on the Fear & Greed index at 62/100. Perpetual funding is near zero. If transaction activity holds and RSI gives back some of that overbought reading, a shallow cooldown is possible rather than a deeper correction. That is a scenario, not a forecast.

Ethereum: exchange outflows tighten supply

Ethereum scores 31.6/50. On-chain data from Bitquery show that exchange netflow over the past 4 hours was about -7.3 thousand ETH, with 167 inflows and 193 outflows. That can shrink the supply available for a quick sale. In the past hour, 52 large transfers above 500 ETH were recorded, the biggest at about 28 thousand and 16.3 thousand ETH. Momentum is mixed: the daily MACD and the EMA 9/21 cross remain bullish, but RSI at 68.6 is close to overbought territory, and contract funding near 0.0019 does not point to heavy leverage. If exchange outflows persist, supply pressure may ease.

Solana: whales move thousands of SOL

Solana posts the highest market-cycle score: 37.1/50. Over the past hour, on-chain data show unusual large-player activity: at least 100 transfers above 10,000 SOL, with the three largest at about 936 thousand, 886 thousand and 835 thousand SOL. Solana's price fell 3.4% to about $104, but the technical picture stays mildly bullish: MACD and EMA 9/21 are in an uptrend, and contract funding is neutral at 0.01%. The read depends on transfer direction. If these are withdrawals from exchanges, supply pressure may ease and the drop may slow. If they are deposits to exchanges, more supply is possible. The data do not settle the direction, but they show that the SOL market is very active today.

💡 Worth knowing

In the CryptoPulsar market cycle, Solana has the highest score among the assets reviewed, at 37.1/50. In the past hour, at least 100 transfers above 10,000 SOL were recorded. That is a sign large players may be reshuffling positions before the market picks a direction.

Other signals: XRP and BNB

Market-cycle data also cover XRP and BNB. XRP scores 33.8/50. The price is down 3.2% to about $1.33, but the daily MACD and the EMA 9/21 cross are bullish. RSI(14) at 66.6 is approaching overbought territory. The XRP funding rate is negative, at -0.0015. BNB scores 33.2/50.
