Coin market data
What it shows
A full market-data card for the project: rank and market cap, volume and its ratio to cap, supply (circulating, total, max), FDV, plus all-time highs and lows (ATH/ATL). The complete set of numbers needed to judge valuation and liquidity.
How to read it
Read the numbers as relationships, not standalone values: combine Vol/MCap (liquidity), FDV/MCap (dilution) and distance from ATH (cycle position). Low Vol/MCap with a huge FDV is a risk profile even if price is rising. Action: use this card to judge whether the valuation is backed by liquidity and supply.
Parameters
- Market cap & rank
- The project's market value (price × circulating supply) and its rank.
- Positive reading: Rising cap with a higher rank: the project is gaining significance.
- Neutral reading: Rank by itself is size context, not a price-direction signal.
- 24h volume & Vol/MCap
- 24h turnover and its ratio to market cap: a measure of trading intensity.
- Positive reading: Vol/MCap in a healthy range (a few percent) means lively, liquid trading.
- Negative reading: Very low Vol/MCap indicates poor liquidity, while very high suggests possible speculation.
- Supply (circulating / total / max)
- How many coins circulate now, how many exist in total, and the maximum cap.
- Neutral reading: A low circulating-to-max share means large future inflation from unlocks.
- FDV
- Valuation at full target supply: shows the scale of dilution.
- Positive reading: FDV close to the cap, meaning little future inflation.
- Negative reading: FDV many times the cap: heavy future supply pressure.
- ATH & ATL
- The all-time high and low price with the distance from them and the dates.
- Neutral reading: A large distance from ATH means more rebound potential but a longer road back.
Example
Rank #45, Vol/MCap 5%, FDV close to cap and -60% from ATH: a liquid, low-dilution project far from its peak. If FDV were 8× the cap, future-supply risk would be significant.
