On-chain whale activity

What it shows

TOP 20 largest ETH transfers (Coinpath) from the last 24 hours, sorted by amount descending: for each move the amount, the time, and the source and destination address with labels and category. It helps you see where the biggest money is flowing on-chain. Fresh, smaller transfers from the last hour are shown in the Whales LIVE widget.

How to read it

Read routes, not single amounts: the direction (to an exchange vs from one) and the address labels decide what a move means. A series of large transfers in one direction is a stronger signal than an isolated one. Practical takeaway: repeated withdrawals from exchanges to private wallets are historically a bullish-flow lean, while a wave of exchange deposits is the opposite.

Parameters

Transfer amount
The size of a single whale move expressed in ETH.
Neutral reading: Larger amounts carry more potential impact, but the route direction is what matters.
From → To path
Sender and receiver address with labels and category (exchange, private wallet, contract).
Positive reading: From an exchange to a private wallet: a withdrawal, historically an accumulation lean.
Negative reading: From a private wallet to an exchange: possible staging for selling, supply pressure.
Neutral reading: Between unlabeled addresses: a move without a clear interpretation.
Time
How long ago the transfer occurred (a short timestamp).
Neutral reading: Fresh, clustered transfers are more meaningful than isolated older moves.

Example

Four transfers of 300–500 ETH within an hour run from exchanges to unlabeled private wallets; this is a clustered withdrawal series suggesting accumulation. When the routes flip toward exchanges, supply pressure has historically risen.
