Project Comparison (2-3)
What it shows
A side-by-side view of 2–3 selected cryptocurrencies across four key metrics: price, 24h change, market cap and 24h volume. The best value in each row is highlighted, so you instantly see which project leads in each category.
How to read it
Don't read rows in isolation; combine them. A high 24h change with rising volume is a move with backing; the same rise on low volume is suspicious. Always translate a large price through market cap, since unit price alone means nothing. The highlight marks the leader of a metric, but the leader in one category can be the weakest in another. Practical takeaway: look for a project that scores healthily across several metrics at once, not one that only shines in a single row.
Parameters
- Price
- The coin's current market price in the selected currency.
- Neutral reading: Price alone says nothing about value: compare it with cap and supply, not directly across coins.
- 24h Change
- Percentage price change over the last 24h: short-term momentum.
- Positive reading: Positive, especially stronger than peers: short-term relative strength.
- Negative reading: Negative, weaker than the rest of the set: short-term relative weakness.
- Neutral reading: Near zero, which means there is no clear short-term direction.
- Market Cap
- Total value of the coin (price × circulating supply): a measure of scale and maturity.
- Positive reading: Large: a more established project, usually steadier and more liquid.
- Negative reading: Very small: higher volatility and manipulation risk, but also bigger move potential.
- Neutral reading: Mid: a trade-off between stability and growth potential.
- 24h Volume
- Trading value over the last 24h: shows the coin's liquidity and interest.
- Positive reading: High relative to cap: a liquid market, easier to enter and exit without slippage.
- Negative reading: Very low: a thin market, more slippage and risk of sharp moves.
- Neutral reading: Moderate: typical liquidity for the project's size.
Example
BTC vs ETH vs SOL: SOL has the highest 24h change (+5.1%) and a highlighted volume rising faster than its cap, which means short-term strength with backing in turnover. BTC leads on cap (stability) and ETH sits in between; this is a clear picture of different risk and maturity profiles.
