Stablecoins

What it shows

Stablecoin inflows show how much "dry powder" (capital in stablecoins) is ready to enter the market, which is potential buying power.

How to read it

Stablecoins are market fuel: a rising supply has historically preceded rallies (capital waiting to buy), while shrinking means outflow phases. Combine this picture with exchange flows.

Parameters

Stablecoin inflows / supply
Rising stablecoin supply = more capital ready to buy; a drop = capital leaving the market.
Positive reading: Rising inflows: historically increased buying power on the market side.
Negative reading: Shrinking supply: historically capital exiting the crypto ecosystem.
Neutral reading: Stable supply: no clear inflow or outflow of capital.

Example

Rising stablecoin inflows to exchanges and an expanding USDT/USDC supply are “dry powder” ready to deploy, historically demand potential. A shrinking stablecoin supply is historically buying-readiness leaving; a stable level is a neutral backdrop.
