Top Losers (24h)
What it shows
The coins with the biggest price declines in the selected time window: 24h by default, plus one hour and the shortest window we can honestly compute from our own price history. Shows price, the percentage change in that window and the coin's market cap rank.
How to read it
The losers list is a scanner for weakness and risk, not an automatic „bargain” list: a falling price can be the start of a longer trend, not just a temporary dip. Check volume and whether the weakness is coin-specific or market-wide. Practical takeaway: when most of the market falls at once it is risk-off, which means historically this is a time for caution and risk control.
Parameters
- Time window
- The switcher above the list: 24h (default), 1h and the shortest supported window (the label shows its real length). The ranking and the percentages are recomputed for the selected window.
- Neutral reading: Short windows are computed from our stored price points against one shared reading moment. A coin without a credible baseline in that window simply does NOT appear on the list: it never fakes a “0.00%”. If the data cannot support the shortest window, its button is not shown at all.
- Rank badge (#37)
- The coin's market cap rank, shown next to the symbol (grid) or the name (list). No rank = no badge.
- Neutral reading: It tells you at a glance whether the drop belongs to a top coin or to the far end of the selected range (top 500/200/50). This is the same number shown on the coin's card.
- Change in the window
- The coin's percentage price drop in the selected window (in red), not a rescaled 24h figure.
- Negative reading: A deep drop on rising volume means strong selling pressure and weakness.
- Neutral reading: A big drop after a prior pump is often a natural cool-off, not a crash.
- Current price
- The coin's current rate in the selected currency.
- Neutral reading: Price alone is context; click the project to judge if it is a dip or a trend break.
Example
One coin drops -25% on bad news while the rest of the market is stable; that is coin-specific weakness. When all losers fall -8–15% at once, it is a broad market-wide risk-off.
