ETH.D: ETH market share. Normal 15-20%. Rising = DeFi altseason (BTC→ETH/alts). Falling = BTC or stable season. ETH/BTC ratio similar. ETH.D peak 2017 DeFi summer: 25%. 2021 peak: 21%. 2024: 13% (BTC dominant).

Ethereum's share of the total crypto market. Rises when capital flows from BTC into ETH and alts (DeFi altseason phase). Falls when everyone retreats to BTC. The ETH/BTC ratio shows the same. Historically the ETH-dominance peak landed near the DeFi peak of each cycle.
